The fancy bar is located in the center of the city in the renowned Davenport Hotel. The Peacock Room is the place to see and be seen under the breathtaking 5,000-piece stained-glass ceiling.  Here is where the "The Davenport Crab Louis" salad was invented by Louis Davenport himself. The signature salad is made with crisp butter lettuce topped with fresh crab, hard boiled eggs, tomatoes and dressed with the famous Louis dressing.
